1999年に発売されたMostroは、その革新的なルックスから、イタリア語で「モンスター」を意味する名前が付けられました。このハイブリッドなデザインは、1960年代のスプリントトラック用スパイクと、1980年代のゆったりとしたパンチングサーフィンシューズという、2つの異なるフィールドから着想を得ています。

PUMAを象徴するアーカイブシルエットであるこのロープロファイルシューズは、その特徴的なスパイクソールやフック＆ループファスナーなどのが特徴的です。元々はメッシュだったアッパーは、サポート性と通気性を備えたパンチングレザーにアップデート。ブラックとホワイトの2色展開です。

PUMA Mostroは、日本時間7/13（土）よりKith Tokyoにて、ブラックのみ発売いたします。

Kith presents the PUMA Mostro—a bold style inspired by vintage track and surfing footwear, now crafted with perforated leather.

Originally launched in 1999, the Mostro derives its name from the Italian word for 'monster', due to its experimental look. This hybrid creation draws inspiration from two diverse realms—the sleek sprinting track spikes of the '60s and the laid-back perforated surfing shoes of the '80s.

As an iconic PUMA archival silhouette, this low-profile shoe boasts defining features such as its signature spiky sole as well as a hook and loop fastener. Originally mesh, the upper is now constructed with perforated leather designed for support and breathability—offered in black and white colorways.

The PUMA Mostro releases on Saturday, July 13th JST at Kith Tokyo, available only in black.
