Barkley takes inspiration from Jackson’s legacy while also applying elements of his own DNA, such as reflective detailing throughout the body of the shoe, evoking construction zones, which is a nod to his hometown of New York. Other elements include a lightning logo, his competition number, 26, and two black stripes atop the lateral Swoosh, honoring the eyeblack the running back  planned on wearing this season.
